Reports & Briefings

Reports and briefings that earn a reader’s attention.

Annual reports, quarterly updates, and strategic memos compete with everything else on a reader’s desk. We design documents for the reader who already has too much to read, structured to be navigated, skimmed, and still understood.

A report communicates how seriously you take the work before anyone reads a word. The rigor of the document stands in for the rigor of the thinking.

What’s included:

  1. 01

    Annual Reports

The year as one coherent document. Narrative, financials, and data visualization are designed together rather than assembled as chapters.

  2. 02

    Board Decks

Board materials that respect the room’s time: the decision on top, the evidence beneath it, the appendix where it belongs.

  3. 03

    Executive Memos

Short-form documents where structure does the persuading. They read in five minutes and stay defensible under questioning.

  4. 04

    Strategy Documents

Long-form strategy given a visual architecture, so the argument holds together across fifty pages, not just five.

  5. 05

    Research Summaries

Findings distilled into charts and layouts that make the takeaway legible in seconds, with no figure that needs re-explaining.

How we think about reports

Reports outlive the meetings and events they’re made for. They get forwarded, rebuilt, and referenced, and they raise the bar for everything else you ship. More of them are read on a phone than in a room, so we design for both.

The goal isn’t decoration. It’s a document whose structure carries the argument: a reader who skims gets the right conclusions, and a reader who digs finds the evidence exactly where they expect it.

Common questions

Our report is on a fixed publication date. Can you work to it?

A Large engagement runs 3 to 6 weeks from kickoff, so the honest answer depends on when you start. Bring the date to the first call and we’ll tell you plainly whether it works.

The content is still being written. When should we engage you?

Earlier than feels natural. The engagement starts with content review and narrative scoping. Structure decisions made before the writing is final save weeks of rework after it.

What do we get at delivery?

Final files ready for distribution, plus branded templates, so next quarter’s update starts from the standard this one set.

Can we start smaller than a full engagement?

Yes. The $2,000 audit reviews an existing report of up to 50 pages and delivers three priority fixes. $1,500 of it credits toward a full engagement booked within 60 days.

Four kinds of work, designed to the same standard.
